Terms of Service
Plain-language terms for working with Dishaw.co. Effective October 26, 2026.
1. Services
Dishaw.co provides website design and hosting, consulting, AI services, and writing and editing, as described on the Services & Pricing page. Scope and price for each project are agreed in writing (by email or quote) before work starts.
2. Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe, and invoices are sent by email. Website and AI builds are 50% up front and 50% at launch. Consultations are paid when you book. Writing and editing is billed hourly as agreed in your quote. Hosting & Care is $30/month or $240/year.
3. Refunds and cancellations
Refunds and cancellations follow the Refund policy.
4. What we need from you
Your logo, text, photos and access to your domain, plus timely feedback. Timelines depend on receiving these.
5. Timelines
Most Starter sites are completed in 7–10 days. Pro and Custom timelines are agreed at kickoff, based on scope.
6. Revisions
Website builds include up to 4 rounds of revisions. Revisions are done in real time, with you online during the build. Additional changes beyond that are quoted before work begins.
7. Ownership
After final payment, you own your site and its content.
8. Hosting
If you stop Hosting & Care, you can take your site elsewhere at no charge, and we hand over a backup.
9. Third-party services and AI
Your own tool and AI subscriptions are billed to your accounts, and you own them. AI output should be reviewed by a person before use.
10. Advice
Dishaw.co is not a CPA firm or law firm. Consultations are educational and are not tax or legal advice.
11. Limitation of liability
Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas.
